Karyn Sue Borntrager, 75, of Hutchinson, died October 6, 2020, at her home. She was born March 16, 1945, in Harrisburg, PA, to Ben and Ida (Troyer) Bontrager.

Before retirement, Karyn worked for Carriage Crossing and in the bakery at Wal-Mart. She was very talented at crocheting. Karyn attended Eastwood Church of Christ, in Hutchinson.

She is survived by: sons, Wesley Borntrager, Nickerson, Willie Borntrager, Rosalia, and Robert (Lisa) Borntrager, Hutchinson; daughter, Fran Hostetler, Hutchinson; sisters, Frances Kuhns, Hutchinson, and Mary Ellen (Dennis) Miller, Arthur, IL; 14 grandchildren, Derek, Deanna, Kevin, Dusty, Angel, CJ, Lyndsie, Rian, Lauryn, Benjamin, Nicole, Halie, Natalee, and Emilee; and seven great-grandchildren, Caleb, Dawson, Elizabeth, Braxton, Addie, Walker, and Hunter.

Karyn was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Benny Jay Bontrager; and grandson, Kyle Borntrager.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Eastwood Church of Christ, 2500 N. Plum, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
