Katherine McCormick, 88, of Hutchinson, died March 13, 2017, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born March 22, 1928, in Herington, KS, the daughter of Tiburcio and Maria (Espinoza) Hernandez. Katherine graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1947, and was a surgical technician for St. Elizabeth, Grace and Hutchinson Hospitals. Katherine was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital after her retirement, and loved to travel with her husband David in the winters.

Parish Rosary will be 7 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, and Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, all at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, with Father Ned J. Blick presiding. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
