Katheryn Ediger's Obituary
Katheryn Ediger, 93, died Feb. 2, 2007, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born Sept. 9, 1913, in Buhler, the daughter of Jacob R. and Mary Braun Hiebert. She attended school in Buhler. A resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker.
She was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church.
On Dec. 31, 1948, she married Henry "Hank" Ediger Jr. in Buhler. He died Sept. 10, 1998.
Survivors include: two sons, Jerry Lee, Prescott Valley, Ariz., and James Ray, Hutchinson; a daughter, Loretta B. Downard, Hutchinson; a sister, Elizabeth Janzen, Hutchinson; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Abe B., Curt B., and Pete B. Hiebert; and two sisters, Anna Nickel and Marie Goertz.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Richard Haley presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Buhler Cemetery.
