Kathleen M. "Nan" Daines, 80, died May 26, 2013, at her home. She was born Jan. 20, 1933, in Hutchinson, to James Thomas and Chloie Mae (Williams) Reed.

She was a medication aide at Broadacres for over thirty years.

On Sept. 25, 1945, she married Leon A. Daines in Hutchinson. He died April 21, 2008.

Survivors include: two daughters, Patty Bruce, Burrton and Linda Ramsey, Hutchinson; two sons, Tom Daines, Hutchinson and Bob Daines, Mankato; sister, Shirley Riead, Garden City; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Kathleen was preceded in death by son, Jack Daines; daughter, Jeanette Sue Daines; grandson, Tracy Daines; and brothers, Jim, Jerry and Jack Reed.

Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in Fairlawn Burial Park with Betty Bachman officiating. Visitation will be noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
