Obituary

Kathleen S. "Kay" Keller, 87, died Feb. 9, 2007, at Thorne Care Center, Wesley Towers.

She was born March 1, 1919, in Plains, the daughter of Paul Archie and Carrie Inez Malone Myers. She graduated from Plains High School in 1938. A longtime Arlington resident, moving to Hutchinson in 1982, she was a homemaker and farmer.

She belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church, Myrtle Rebekah Lodge No. 28 for 60 years, Lucky Sewing Circle, EHU, was a past 4-H leader, Brownie and Girl Scout leader, Bible School and Sunday school teacher.

On May 6, 1939, she married Quincy Keller in Arlington. He died Jan. 10, 2000.

Survivors include: two daughters, Patricia A. Pennock and husband, Jack, Hutchinson, and Jacqueline K. Albright, Wichita; three brothers, Harold E. Myers, Leoti, Kenneth L. Myers, Smyrna, Tenn., and Lewis W. Myers, Ponca City, Okla.; two sisters, Verda P. Remick, Bakersfield, Calif., and Mary J. Farley, Hutchinson; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Myers; and a sister, Olive Alder.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Art Maddock presiding. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Lerado Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas, or to the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Towers, both in care of the funeral home.
