Kathryn Jean Lovrien, 84, of Placentia Calif., formerly of Hutchinson, died April 26, 2008 at Placentia Calif. She was born April 11, 1924, at Beaver County Okla., to Lester C. and Mattie Mae Cates Bidstrup.

She was a Placentia, Calif. resident and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1941, as the Class Valedictorian. She went to Adela Hale Business College in 1942 and graduated from Fullerton Jr. College in Calif. in 1967. She retired from Rockwell International and was a homemaker.

She belonged to Eastside Christian Church in Fullerton, Calif., and she was a member of Huggin Hearts Square Dance Club.

She married Kenneth Eugene Tuxhorn. He died Sept. 7, 1964. Later on Nov. 28, 1964, she married Warren Glen Lovrien in San Francisco. He survives.

Survivors include: son, Larry Eugene Tuxhorn and wife Mary, McKinney, Texas; daughter Jean Anne Tuxhorn, Hutchinson; sister, Janet Herman, San Francisco; three grandchildren, Michelle Levy, Dianne Williford, Jeff Tuxhorn; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, great granddaughter, Makayla Cheyanne Levy, brother, Pascal Bidstrup, and her step-mother, Alta Honnen Bidstrup.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Adrian presiding. Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Association. Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, is in charge of arrangements.
