Kathy Mae Hargett, 68, died Sept. 18, 2015, at Via Christi at St. Francis, Wichita. She was born April 8, 1947, in Junction City, Kan., to Donald Sr. and Helen (Harrison) Lemen.

She was an Administrative Assistant at Dillon Living Center before retiring in 2007. Kathy was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with all her family whenever she could. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include: son, Delbert Fairchild (Christine Brock) of Newton; daughters, Eska Ward (Rex Williams) of Independence, Mo., Tammy Todd of Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister; and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, James Todd; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis "Lexi" Martin.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Rex Williams presiding. Family invites friends to join them at Carey Park for a lunch following the graveside service. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
