Kathye Ann Oberle, 57, died March 3, 2008, at her home after a brief courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 4, 1950, in Lindsborg, she was the daughter of Floyd Virgil and Bernadine Katheryn Engstrom Kimble. She was a longtime Hutchinson resident. She graduated from Bushton High School in 1968, and from Brown Mackie College, Salina, in 1970. She was a receptionist for the Hutchinson Clinic for 13 years.
She was of the Catholic faith.
On Feb. 5, 1969, she married David Robert Oberle, Bushton.
Survivors include: her mother, Lyons; two sons, Mark and wife Mandi, Shawnee, and Nickolas, Lenexa; two daughters, Kimberly Rohr and husband Kelly, Hutchinson, and Karla Oberle, Olathe; a brother, James Kimble, Ottawa; a sister, Karen Sitts, McPherson; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Dennis Kimble.
Parish Rosary followed by Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, with Father Stuart M. Smeltzer presiding. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Freemount Cemetery.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and a great friend to many; she will be forever in our hearts.
