Obituary

Kenneth "Kenny" Kay Alexander, 81, of McPherson, died October 18, 2022, at Diversicare of Hutchinson. He was born January 3, 1941, in Linn, to Leo Kenneth and Lylah (Gross) Alexander.

Kenny graduated from Washington County High School and took some college credits before serving in the U.S. Navy for a couple years. Kenneth was a resident in Abilene for 11 years, where he became part of the Jaycee's and enjoyed their annual hog roasting tradition, he then moved to McPherson and worked for Oneok gas company for years.

Kenny's hobbies include golfing, bowling, fishing, hunting and playing fast and slow pitch softball. He did a little bit of everything.

On February 24, 1963, Kenny married Linda Lou Bledsoe and they were married for almost 60 years.

He is survived by: his wife, Linda Alexander of McPherson; daughters, Kimberly (Todd) Bannon of Belle Plaine, and Sherilyn Alexander of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandsons, Nick (Lyndsey) Alexander of Shawnee, Michael Bannon of Mulvane, Joshua Bannon of Wichita; granddaughters, Danielle Ebert and Gabrielle Ebert both of Port St. Lucie, FL; four great-grandsons; and a brother-in-law, Myron Razor of Wadesville, IN.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Marcia Razor.

Per Kenneth's wishes, no services will be taking place.
