Kenneth A. "Bo" Dunn, 90, of Abbyville, died August 12, 2024. He was born February 19, 1934, in Abbyville, to Wayne C. and Mildred M. (Waddle) Dunn.

Ken graduated from Abbyville High School in 1952 and attended Wichita Technical Institute. He served in the United State Army as Corporal from 1954 to 1956. He worked as a field technician for Unisys Corporation, fixing computerized bank machines. Ken enjoyed farming, camping and traveling across the country in his motorhome.

He was a member of Abbyville Community Church, Abbyville Senior Citizens and Abbyville Booster Club.

On July 3, 1954, he married Betty Joan Birket, in Abbyville. They shared over 64 years of marriage, prior to her death on April 14, 2019.

Ken is survived by: children, Kelley (Tom Wilson) Lester of Arlington, Bret (Stacey) Dunn of Abbyville, Stacey (Wayne) Baughman of Abbyville; grandchildren, Jonathan (Lori) Dye of Sand Springs, OK, Krystal (Justin) Watkins, Tyler (Amanda) Radi, Whitney (Mike) Knutson, all of Hutchinson, Kelcey Dunn of Abbyville, and Dalton Dunn of Dundee, OR; great-grandchildren, Cody, Harley, Corbin, Hudson, Izzy, Sterling, Meadow, Livi and Levi.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; brother-in-law, Merle Gagnebin; and son-in-law, Larry Lester.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, in the Abbyville Cemetery, Abbyville. Following the graveside service the family invites everyone to join them for a reception at the Abbyville Community Church. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, at Elliott Mortuary.
