Kenneth R. Arnett, 69, died Dec. 13, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. He was born Sept. 12, 1942, in Hutchinson, Kan., the son of Ernest Roy and Alberta Katherine Davis Arnett.
He was a graduate of Hutchinson High School in 1961 and was a retired auto parts man, working for A.D. Rayl Motor Company, Jeff O'Neal Ford and Poorman Auto Supply.

Survivors include: son, Jeff of Hutchinson; daughter, Lisa Saylor and husband Scott of Hutchinson; sisters, Janet Dunigan and husband Ed of McGregor, Texas; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation will take place. Family will receive friends following the service at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of the mortuary.
