Kenneth M. Blevins, 80, died April 24, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital. He was born August 31, 1927, at Wichita, Kansas, to Charles K. and Alice Leota McVay Blevins. He was retired from radio and television broadcasting, working for various stations including KTVH, KAKE, KWBW and KSKU.

He graduated from Wichita North High School in 1945. He attended Central College, McPherson, Wichita State, Friends University both at Wichita, he graduated from Kansas State Teachers College at Emporia with a B.S. Degree in Business Education in 1950. He belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church, American Legion Lysle Rishel Post 68, both of Hutchinson.

He served on the U.S.S. Little Rock in WWII.

On June 4, 1948, he married Dorothy Ragen. He later married Donna Faye Hatcher Seefeldt on December 7, 1974 in Manhattan.
She survives.

He is survived by his children Bob and Chris Seefeldt, Pretty Prairie, Cathy and Larry Lawrence, Galva, the late Becky and Steve Taylor, Flushing, Mich., Julie Kellison and the late Paul Kellison, Cadillac, Mich., Julie Smith and Terry Johnson, Maize. His 8 grandchildren, Wendy and Shaun Rayl, Gillian and Charlie Ledbetter, Spencer and Amy Smith, Stuart Smith, Steele and Lane Smith, Andrew Taylor, David Lawrence and Anna Taylor. He also has six great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Margaret Cook, Judy and Neil Harman, and June and Leroy Alexander. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother John and his daughter, Becky Taylor.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday April 28, 2008, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Jim Rhaesa presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation has taken place.
