PRETTY PRAIRIE - Kenneth C "Ken" Graber, 67, of Pretty Prairie died Monday, Sept. 27 at Hospice House in Hutchinson.
He was born Nov. 25, 1942 at Pretty Prairie, the son of Jake C. and Opal Krehbiel Graber.
He was a school teacher and coach. He currently taught at Hutchinson Community College. He was a track and field official, and had served as the Head Starter for the N.A.I.A. He was a member of Grace Bible Church and USA Track and Field Officials Assn.
He married Judy Preheim on July 20, 1962 at Moundridge. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jack Graber and his wife Gwen, Pretty Prairie; daughters, Antoinette Root, Hutchinson, and Cynthia Erhstein and husband Michael, Andover; a brother, Duane Graber, Kansas City, Mo.; and six grandchildren, Grant, Danielle, Scott, Joel, Blaze, and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 2 at Grace Bible Church, 1221 E. 33rd, Hutchinson. A private graveside will be Saturday morning at First Mennonite Church Cemetery in Pretty Prairie.
Friends may sign the register book at Elliott Mortuary 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday to Friday. Family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grace Bible Church.
