Kenneth D. Quick, 73, of Ft. Worth, TX, passed away July 22, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 22, 1949, in Kingman, KS to John Harvey Quick and Vada Louise (Wilson) Quick.

Ken graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1967 and attended Hutchinson Juco. He served in the Army Reserve in Garden City, KS, and Montrose, CO. He was still employed by Diversey until he became ill.

On November 22, 1978, he married Elizabeth Fyler in the Methodist Church at Larned, KS. The wedding was officiated by Reverend Jones who was Elizabeth's pastor and had been Ken's in Kingman where he earned his God and Country award. They shared over 43 years of marriage prior to his death.

Ken is survived by: wife, Elizabeth Quick of Fort Worth;  daughters, Kristi Brown (fiancé Dirk Addink) of Keller, TX, and Erica Mocaby of Fort Worth, TX;  grandchildren Tyler Evans of Ponca City, OK, Jessica Brown of Fort Worth TX, Bethany Brown of Keller, TX, Sydney Addink of Keller, TX, Cameron Mocaby of Fort Worth, TX, Jacob Addink of Keller, TX; and great grandson, Alexander Evans of Ponca City, OK; mother, Vada Quick of Hutchinson, KS; brothers: Dennis Quick, Ron (Vicki) Quick, and Gerald Quick all of Hutchinson, KS; and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Harvey Quick.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary & Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. Inurnment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, 5905 W. 4th, Hutchinson, KS.
