Sivils
August 30, 1941 – November 14, 2024
Kenny Sivils, 83, of Partridge, passed away peacefully November 14, 2024, at Legend of Hutchinson. He was the youngest of seven children, born August 30, 1941, to Bill and Willa (Arnold) Sivils, in Arlington, KS. Kenny graduated from Arlington High School, in 1959.
On April 11, 1966, he married the love of his life and best friend, Ernestine (Eisiminger) Sivils, in Partridge. They shared nearly 55 years of love, farming, fishing, traveling, and marriage together.
Kenny worked 21 years at Cessna/ Eaton before becoming a "full time" farmer/ cattleman in 1981. He was the co-owner/operator of Sivils 50/50 Farm, Partridge, for over 50 years with his wife Ernestine. Kenny was a loving husband, father, and "PAPA" to 5 lucky grandchildren, and friend to many. He was an ornery, sweet, tough, and compassionate man with the best sense of humor. Kenny was a member of Partridge Community Church, Partridge, KS.
Kenny is survived by: his daughter, Tawnya Harner (Doug) of Partridge; daughter-in-law, Karen Sivils of Inman, grandchildren, Connor and Brock Sivils of Inman, Colby, Shelby, and Haley Harner, all of Partridge; special granddogs, Brandi, Heidi, and Pancho; and numerous extended family members.
Kenny was proceeded in death by: his parents; his wife of 55 years, Ernestine; son, Tracy Sivils; brother, Arnold Sivils; sisters, Willena Lander, Dona Kaufman, Mary Bell Kempton, Lois Guthrie, and Cleo Oliphant; and his loving in-laws, whom he thought the world of, Floyd and Ruth Eisiminger.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Elliott Chapel, with Tom Miller and Jim French officiating. Burial will follow in Partridge Cemetery. Friends may sign his book from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2024, with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
