Kevin A. Hickey, 62, of Lawrence, KS, died November 9, 2023.  He was born September 5, 1961, to Gerald and Teresa (Martin) Hickey.

Kevin graduated from Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson Community College and Puget Sound Electrical Program.  He served in the United States Coast Guard where he received the Distinguished Service Medal.  He was an electrician for BNSF Railway Company.

He was married to Karina Climas.

Kevin is survived by: his wife; siblings: Marty (Jenni) Hickey, Brian (Diane) Hickey, Maureen (Doug) Wulf, Colin (Carolyn) Hickey, Megan Hickey; nieces and nephews:  Sean, Sarah, Kevin, Kyle, and Alexander Hickey and Connor, Kate and Kelly Wulf, and Daci (Justin) Carter.

Cremation has taken place with a private family burial at a later date.  Kevin's family invites you to join them for a reception honoring his life on Saturday, August, 31, 2024 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Rice Park Community Building, 1801 Swarens St., Hutchinson KS 67501.
