Kevin Alejandro Rodriguez, 24, died June 17, 2024.  He was born November 1, 1999, in Newton, to Kevin and Jamie Jean (Grow) Rodriguez.

Kevin graduated Hutchinson High School in 2017.  He was the proud owner of KROD Tree & Landscaping.  Kevin enjoyed music of all genres, with country music as his favorite.  In addition, he enjoyed reading poetry of Edgar Allan Poe, playing his guitar, working with his Milwaukee tools, and exercising.

Kevin had endless love to give, constant encouragement, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family.   This past year, Kevin worked harder than ever to create and grow his company, KROD Tree & Landscaping, which he took great pride in owning.  There were three places where you could find Kevin, the gym, with his family, or up a tree.

Kevin is survived by:  his father, Kevin Rodriguez (Angie); mother, Jamie Grow (Chris); sister, Novalie Baker (Austin), all of Hutchinson; brother, Christian Rodriguez (Savannah) of Virginia; grandparents, Francisco Rodriguez, Irene Soto, Deborah and Jim Grow; beloved niece, Wrenley Baker, all of Hutchinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Elliott Chapel. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
