Krissy A. Birdwell, 57, of Hutchinson, died March 11, 2023, at her home. She was born October 3, 1965, in Columbus, OH, to Millard McGee and Lois (Ferrell) Cooper.

Krissy graduated from McLeansboro High School, McLeansboro, IL, in 1983, and Hutchinson Community College in 2006. She enjoyed many arts and crafts, including: diamond art, crocheting, cross stitch, embroidery, and sewing. Krissy also loved to cook. She enjoyed riding on the motorcycle and camping with her husband. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

On September 8, 2010, she married Chris Birdwell in Hutchinson. They shared over 12 years of marriage before her passing.

Krissy is survived by: husband, Chris Birdwell, Hutchinson; sons, Stephen Bair, KY, and Joshua (Sarah) Bair, Clarksville, KY; daughter, Tonja (Josh) Metz, Hutchinson; 12 grandchildren; and brothers, Jason, Germany, and Brian (Terri) McGee, Columbia, MO.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; grandparents; and brother.

Cremation has taken place. There is no service planned at this time.
