Kyle William Smith, 31, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, died June 12, 2022. He was born January 21, 1991, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Daniel and Lori (Nethercot) Smith.

Kyle graduated from Nickerson High School in 2009, and attended Barton County Community College and Pratt Community College Electrical Power Technology Lineman School. Kyle played tennis in college and was a member of the Reno County 4H where he showed sheep first and later cattle. He was also a member of the American Gelbvieh Junior Association where he showed cattle for many years. He loved all animals! He had such a soft spot for any dog, and especially his two Australian Shepherds, Biddy and Bear. As a hobby he was an innovator and woodworker, building some ingenious and beautiful pieces.  Kyle was an Electrical Lineman for Line Tech in Oklahoma.

He is survived by: his mother, Lori Smith Deluca (Ken), Howell, Michigan; brother, Tyler Smith (Meagan), Boise, Idaho; and his dogs, Biddy and Bear.

Kyle was preceded in death by: his father, Daniel Smith; grandfather, Earle Smith; and grandparents, Sybil and Paul Nethercot.

Parish rosary will be 1 pm Monday June 20, 2022, at Church of the Holy Cross, followed by a funeral Mass at 1:30 pm at the church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 8 pm Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
