Lamoine H. Mcentarfer's Obituary
Lamoine H. McEntarfer, 97, died Aug. 3, 2011, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born Feb. 11, 1914, in Lincolnville, Kan., to Edd and Emma Tiemeier Lietz.
Lamoine was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ladies Circle No. 1 and ACBL Bridge Club. She retired from Dillons in 1979, after 27 years of service.
On April 8, 1940, she married Merwyn R. McEntarfer in Newkirk, Okla. He died Feb. 26, 1993.
Survivors include: son, Doug McEntarfer and Deanna Byers of Pratt; daughter, Karen Zimmerman and husband Gary of Hutchinson; five grandchildren, Brian Zimmerman and wife Cami, Michele Flory and husband Mark, Jeff McEntarfer and wife Erin, Jeremy McEntarfer and wife Faira, and Dustin McEntarfer and wife Sally; nine great-grandchildren, Katie, Tommy, Grace, Jason, Ayden, Dylan, Drew, Lincoln and Leah; three nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Lietz.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Elliott Chapel with Chaplain Bob Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or Hospice of Reno County, in care of the mortuary.
