In the early morning of July 25, 2023, Lanette Richey, 61, went home to be with the Lord. She was born October 11, 1961, in Long Beach, CA, to William T. "Tom" and Cecilia Arlene (Mendenhall) Richey Sr.

Lanette spent most of her life in Hutchinson. She worked at R.L. Polk for almost 20 years.

The light of Lanette's life was her 18-year-old son, Noah Anthony Richey. Noah recently returned home after graduating from the Army National Guard.

Lanette is survived by: her son, Noah Richey; mother, Arlene Richey; sister, Suzanne Sims (Greig); brother, Bill Richey (Becky), all of Hutchinson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-niece, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her father; sister, Rhonda Armer; and great-nephew, Levi Sims

Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Abbyville Cemetery.
