Larry D. Corkins' Obituary
Larry Dale Corkins, 43, died Dec. 18, 2005, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
He was born Aug. 5, 1962 in Hutchinson, the son of Larry and Claudine R. Woodall Corkins. He was a 1980 graduate of Hutchinson High School. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, he was a self-employed master siding contractor.
On Feb. 24, 1990, he married Darla Hoefer in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Justin Wade, Hutchinson, and Tyson Ray Wooten, Currie, N.C.;daughter, Whitney Rose Corkins, Hutchinson his parents, Larry and Claudine Corkins, Inman; two sisters, Rebecca Bone, Colorado, and Candie Radford, Salina; two grandchildren, Destiny Wooten and Justin Wade Corkins Jr.; and a niece, Brandi Henks.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and an aunt, Dixie Long.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Richard Haley presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Reno County American Red Cross, in care of the mortuary.
