Larry Scott Ladd, 72, of Hutchinson, died January 10, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1947, to Elmer and Blanche (Brenegan) Ladd.

Larry graduated from Chanute High School and Neosho Community College. He worked for many years doing housing installations for construction companies. Larry loved to collect bottles, a hobby that he shared with his son, Marshall. He and Marshall also took many camping, hunting, and fishing trips together.

Larry is survived by: son, Marshall Ladd, South Carolina; brother, Ed Ladd and wife Jeanette, Hutchinson; their daughters, Ashley Ladd and Miranda Schmutz; and son, Jason Schmutz.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Sydney Rhoades officiating. Friends may sign the book on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m., at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
