Larry D. Smith, 64, died Jan. 22, 2017, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Jan. 13, 1953, in Guymon, Okla., to Lawrence and Alice M. (Boling) Smith.

Larry attended Buhler High School. He was a union tinner for residential and commercial heating and air. Larry was an avid sports fan but mainly a football enthusiast.

Larry is survived by: son, Daniel Smith and wife Amanda of Hutchinson; daughters, Aundrea Wilkins and husband Andrew of Lawrence, Dawn Smith, Lisa Byard, Christine Norman, all of Hutchinson; mother, Alice M. Smith of Arizona; brothers, Vernon Smith and wife Debbie of Texas, Howard Smith and wife Cathy of Iowa;and six grandchildren; Former spouse, LaNita Smith He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Pastor Paul Thurston officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with family to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
