Laura "Jean" Jarrett, 70, died August 21, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  She was born December 18, 1950, in Leaksville, NC, to Leroy and Burniece Frances (Jantzen) Mundy.

Jean worked as an aide, in the physical therapy department, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

On December 19, 1968, she married James Wesley "Jim" Jarrett, in Hutchinson.  He died July 3, 2020, after sharing almost 52 years of marriage.  Jean and Jim were proud parents of their daughter, Laurie.  They both swelled with pride when talking about her artistic talent.

Jean is survived by:  daughter, Laurie Jarrett; sister, Patricia Toland; brother-in-law, Kenneth Jarrett; sisters-in-law, Linda Proberts (Gerald)and LeAnn McCurdy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by:  her parents; sisters-in-law, Patricia Rowe and Hattie Clune; and brothers-in-law, Frank Clune, Melvin McCurdy and David Toland.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
