Laverna M. Winchester Fuller's Obituary
LITHONIA, Ga. - LaVerna M. Winchester Fuller was born in Kinsley, June 17, 1913, the daughter of John Walter and Lenora Walker Winchester.
She was a graduate of Kinsley High School and was a teacher's aide at Lincoln Elementary School. LaVerna married Maurice Fuller and was married for 30 years until his death in 1977. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church.
LaVerna found eternal peace on Sunday, May 22, 2011, in Lithonia, Ga. She leaves to cherish her memories: a daughter, Jacqueline; two granddaughters, Lettie and Patricia; a grandson, Alex; two great-granddaughters, Danielle and Laurie; a great-great-granddaughter, Dominique; four sisters, Mellow Dee Barnette, Dorothy Marshall, June Terry and Norma Kennedy; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. LaVerna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and four brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Bethel A.M.E. Church with Reverend Dennis Payne presiding. Interment will be at Fairlawn Burial Park.
