Laverne 'Si' Franklin Seifert, 72, died December 16, 2023, at Hospice House-Hutchinson.  He was born June 27, 1951, in Hutchinson, KS, to Charles Earl Seifert and Gertrude Claire (Bell) Seifert.

Si was a graduate of Buhler High School, Buhler, KS.  He retired after 42 years as a lineman for Westar Energy, currently known as Evergy.

To honor Si's request, no services are scheduled.  Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Laverne 'Si' F. Siefert Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
