Lavona B Senko's Obituary
LaVona B. Senko, 83, died May 22, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born October 30, 1930, to Aaron B. and Lucille Marie Lee Watt in Montezuma, KS. She was a homemaker and a parish member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Hutchinson.
On November 19, 1951, she married James C. Senko in Great Bend, KS. He died October 14, 2007.
Survivors include: sons, Aaron Senko of Hutchinson, Dennis Senko of Illinois, and Mark Senko of Hutchinson; daughter, Christina Locke of Bay City, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
LaVona bequeathed her body to the University of Kansas Medical School for science.
Rosary will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, all at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Father Nicholas Voelker presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
