Lee Harrah, 89, died Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Mennonite Friendship Com-munities, South Hutchinson. He was born January 30, 1927, in Centralia, Washington, the son of John and Clara Harrah. Lee graduated from Centralia High School and then moved to Hutchinson, where he worked at Winchester Packing Co. for many years before retiring. On June 1, 1963, he married Esther Stucky in Hutchinson. She died September 1, 2010.
Lee is survived by his daughter, Kris Hornbaker and her husband Jud and their three daughters, Anna, Alicia, and Abigail, of Hutchinson; niece, Diana Hamilton of Washington and nephew, Alec Dines of Washington. He was preceded in death by his son, Sean and his sister, Alma Dines.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016, at First Mennonite Church, 52 Rambler Rd., Hutchinson, with Pastors Tonya Ramer Wenger and Nathan Koontz officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, with the family to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
