LeeAnn Parks Schulthess, 57, of Hutchinson, died November 12, 2017, at Via Christi on St. Francis, Wichita. She was born January 24, 1960, in Hutchinson, to Claude D. and Martha L. 'Martie' (Hays) Parks. LeeAnn graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1978. She was a multi-talented lady and was very involved in Soroptimist International. LeeAnn found her niche calling as a public relations director for TECH and she was extremely passionate about her work there.

On December 12, 1980, she married John W. Schulthess in Hutchinson. They shared 36 years of marriage.

LeeAnn is survived by: husband, John of the home; brother, Ron Parks and wife Crystal of Hutchinson; nieces and nephews, Justin Parks of Hutchinson, Kyle Parks of AZ, Keith Engweiler of Haven, Nancy Belden of AR, Kelli Adams of PA, Amy Venable of FL; life-long best friend, Cheryl (Ratzlaff) Webster of Greensburg; and numerous loving in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Parks.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Reverend Michael McGuire officiating. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TECH or HCC Endowment Association for The Parks Family Scholarship, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
