Lena V. Guyll, 94, died March 5, 2007, at Wesley Towers Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Oct. 1, 1912, in Joplin, Mo., the daughter of Carve Earnest and Vernie May Good Brasher. A resident of Turon since 1954, moving to Hutchinson in 2000, she was a bookkeeper for Milt's TV and Appliance, Pratt.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church, Turon.
On Oct. 19, 1935, she married James Willard Guyll in Anderson, Mo. He died July 14, 1962.
Survivors include: a son, James W., Hutchinson; two daughters, Linda Brosius and Nancy Roberts, both of Hutchinson; a sister, Charlotte Doll, Joplin, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Wesley Towers Evans Chapel, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Randall Turner presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Anderson (Mo.) Cemetery.
