Lenora Anne (Linscheid) Althaus, 79, of Hutchinson, died October 28, 2021, at her home. She was born September 23, 1942, in Burlington, to Harold and Marjorie (Pultz) Linscheid.

Lenora attended McPherson High School. She worked for 36 years at Underground Vaults and Storage and held numerous titles, including records supervisor. Lenora belonged to Moose Lodge #982 and often spent her Friday evenings there. Her dog, Sassy, was very special to her and they shared a close bond. Lenora was baptized in the McPherson Church of Christ.

On March 11, 1993, she married Dale Althaus, in Hutchinson. He passed away on October 20, 2013.

Lenora is survived by: daughter, Jacqueline Wisecarver (David), Hutchinson; sons, Ray Vanek, Caldwell, Chad Zeek (Tammy Miller), Dorrence; stepdaughter, Sandy Baumann (Mark), Missouri; stepson, Marty Althaus, Hutchinson; grandchildren, Gina Woodson (Ty), Josh Vanek (Mandi), Melissa Butler (Jake Ginn), Kristen Mixon (Derek), Matthew Stoecklein (Una Walkenhorst); great-grandchildren; Sissy Woodson, Jake Hildebrand, Connor Hildebrand, Alexis Vanek, Chase Butler, Ariana Mixon, Molly Mixon, Jacob Ginn; brothers, Harold Linscheid (Carol), John Linscheid (Barbara), Phillip Linscheid (Velda); 10 step-grandchildren; 19 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Dale Althaus; daughter, Julie Vanek; and sister, Sylvia Lombardo.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in Neola Cemetery, Stafford County. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
