Lenora F. (McJunkin) Trapp, 86, died Oct. 2, 2013, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Carl Junction, Mo., to George W. and Eva (Caldwell) Miller.
Lenora graduated from Osage High School in 1944 and attended nursing school. She was a nurse for Dr. Neel and Dr. Stafford. Lenora was a member of The Corner Stone Baptist Church.
On Feb. 5, 1947, she married Maurice McJunkin in Kansas City, Mo. He died Jan. 21, 1983. On May 14, 1988, she married Ben E. Trapp in Hutchinson. He died March 24, 1992.
She is survived by: son, Mike McJunkin and wife Karen Michels of Hutchinson; daughter, Connie Selby and husband Jim of Effingham, Ill.; adopted daughter, Kyoung Alonzo of Hutchinson; sister, Thelma Miller of Eldon, Mo.; grandchildren, Adam Selby, Brian Selby. Angi Pabon, Gina McCaslin; and great-grandchildren, Anthony Pabon, Eliana Pabon, Justus McCaslin, and Syesha McCaslin. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathy Williams; and sister, Eula Little.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at The Corner Stone Baptist Church, 1028 E. 16th Ave., with Pastor Larry Wedel officiating. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, in Crandall Cemetery, rural Ness County. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
