Obituary

Leo Hurt,Jr., 84, passed away Feb. 18, 2015, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. He was born Dec. 19, 1930, in Beggs, Okla., to Leo S. and Leah M. (Kleweno) Hurt,Sr.

Leo previously owned and operated two Champlain Stations and was a retired pipe liner for Hayden Construction. He also retired as a machinist from Consolidated Rebuilders. Leo served in the United States Marines, part of the Marine Air Casual Squadron One, USMCAS and he served in the United States Army.

Survivors include: son, Michael Hurt and wife Barbara; daughter, Kris Marshall; five granddaughters; five great-granddaughters and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, llene Bernice Richardson, Leona Hayden, Roberta Roesler; brother, Pedro "Bud" Hurt.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to American Legion Lysle Rishel Post #68, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
