Leo James Kaiser, 83, died March 5, 2026, at Hospice House- Hutchinson.  He was born December 7, 1942, to Carl and Anna Zerr Kaiser in Grainfield, KS.

After graduating high school, Leo worked for APAC Shears Construction retiring after over 40 years.  He then worked for Reno County in the road maintenance department.

On August 20, 1966, Leo married Maria Marquez.  They shared over 59 years of marriage.

Leo is survived by his: wife; children, Delbert Kaiser of Hutchinson, Michael (Lauren) Kaiser of Leawood, and Ashley (Rein) Herrman of Topeka; grandchildren, Ciarra, Kyler, Evan and Anna Kaiser and Braxten, Brysen, Beckham Herrman; and sister, Tina Leiker.

He was preceded in death by his: parents; brothers, John and Bernard; and sister, Agnes Ziegler.

Cremation has taken place.
