Obituary

Leslie A. Pedersen, 57, of Hutchinson, died April 22, 2026, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita. She was born April 17, 1969, in Kingman, to Richard and Claudia (Flourney) Greever.

Leslie graduated from Buhler High School and was a nurse before having children. She worked as a nutrition assistant for the Hutchinson Schools for 12 years. Leslie enjoyed building relationships with the students she encountered.

On August 1, 1989, she married Craig Pedersen, in Scott City. They shared nearly 37 wonderful years of marriage.

Leslie prized spending time outside. She was an animal lover and especially enjoyed her chickens. Above all, Leslie loved spending time with her family. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Leslie is survived by: beloved husband, Craig Pedersen of Hutchinson; children, Aria Pedersen of Hutchinson, Neil Pedersen of Raymore, Missouri, Noah Pedersen of Buhler, and Nyle Pedersen of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Everly Pedersen of Raymore, Missouri; father, Richard Greever of Hutchinson; step-siblings, William Graves, Jon David Graves, Kathy Speir, all of Hutchinson; and aunts, Janelle (Leo) Casper of Scott City and Brenda Tidkey of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her: mother, Claudia Wendel; brother, Steven Frank Greever; step-mother, Betty Jean Greever.

Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
