Liam Everett Smalling, 3 months old, died August 14, 2014, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born April 21, 2014, to Tom and Jessica (Williams) Smalling in Hutchinson. He donated his organs to help others.

He is survived by: his parents, Tom and Jessica; paternal grandparents, Thomas E. Smalling and wife Lucy of Hutchinson, maternal grandmother, Michelle Williams and husband Steve Morris of Hutchinson, maternal grandfather, David Williams and wife Abbie of Pretty Prairie, great-grandmother, Margaret O'Donnell of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; great-grandparents, Gary Hansen and wife Jacque of Kingman; aunt, Jamie Williams of Hutchinson; uncle, Jay Smalling of Hutchinson; and many great aunts and uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Smalling.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Matt Stafford presiding. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday thru Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Liam Everett Smalling Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. The family of Liam is asking friends and family who attend to wear Batman attire in his honor.
