Lillian A. Browning's Obituary
Lillian Alberta Browning, 95, died Feb. 17, 2007, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born June 3, 1911, in Ellinwood, the daughter of Albert and Lillian Emma Yeager Schroder. She graduated from Hutchinson High School. A resident of Hutchinson since 1990, formerly of Los Angeles, she was a former dental and medical assistant.
She belonged to First Church of Christ Scientist.
On Nov. 30, 1952, she married Kenneth V. Browning in San Gabriel, Calif. He died Sept. 19, 1995.
Survivors include: two sons, the Rev. William T. Haney, Columbia, Mo., and Robert Haney, Portland, Ore.; a sister, Florence Tucker, Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to First Church of Christ Scientist, in care of the mortuary.
