Obituary

Lillian Margaret Davis, 70, died Oct. 17, 2005, in her home, South Hutchinson.

She was born Aug. 1, 1935, in Wheeling, W. Va., the daughter of George Jack and Clara Fulton Baillie Cook. She was a retired jewelry manager at J.C. Penney after 25 years.

She was of the Lutheran faith and belonged to the American Pool Players Association and International Lutheran Laymans League.

In August of 1957, she married Merlin Dale Davis in Burden. He died Jan. 17, 1985. She later married Donald Lee Patterson on May 23, 1991, in Miami, Okla. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Steve, Hutchinson; three daughters, Teresa Davis, South Hutchinson, Tammy Bright and husband, Troy, Nickerson, Rene Cokeley and her husband, John, Hutchinson; a brother, Jack Cook, Houston; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Richard Haley presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Laurel Cemetery, Haven.
