Obituary

Linda Kay Lancaster, 63, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Nov. 25, 1950, in Hutchinson, the youngest daughter of 12 children to Fred Sr. and Addie Walden Daines.
She attended Hutchinson Schools and had been a production worker for Haven Steel. Linda had also worked for Mega Manufacturing, owned Patterson Glass and Window, and worked for Midwest Mirror and Glass.

Linda is survived by: two daughters and their husbands, Tammy (Troy) Bright of Nickerson, and Rene (Willie) Cokeley; two sisters, Nancy (Jack) Satterwhite, and Laura "Mickey" Stout; five grandchildren, Colby Bright (Ashley Cain), Tiffany (Matt) Bishop, Zackary Bright (Chad Graber), Kyle Cokeley, and Bryce Cokeley; five great-grandchildren, Zayden Reed, Brecklyn , Kale and Bailey Bishop, and Kason Bright, all of Hutchinson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Lady Bug.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings, John, Fred Jr., Leon "Cotton", and Robert "Tom" Daines, Isabelle Goheen, Mary England, Phyllis Jean Renken, Shirley Ann Wilson, and Bonnie Davis.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Adrian presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Linda Lancaster Memorial Fund, or Hospice of Reno County, in care of the funeral home.
