Linda K. St. Amand, 76, of Hutchinson, died January 24, 2025. She was born August 10, 1948, in Quincy, Illinois, the youngest daughter of Andrew and Frieda (Helzer) Weiland.

Linda was a very successful manager at Hughes Aircraft Company in California for 32 years. She held top secret clearance in the aircraft and defense industry and broke glass ceilings with ease and hard work. After retirement in 2003, Linda moved to Kansas and worked at the Bath and Body Works, Highlands Golf Course, and H and R Block. She enjoyed the company of her beloved family, friends, and dogs, Tawny and Rosie.

Linda is survived by: brother, Jim Weiland of Kentucky; sister, Jan Wilson of California; nieces, Pat Weiland (Terry Hyde), Lauri Weiland, Terri Wilson, Cyndi Wilson, Ali Miller, Sami Weiland; nephews, Bob (Terrie Jo) Weiland, Doug Beck, Steve (Linda) Weiland; and cousin, Laurie Campbell.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; companion, Linda Lou Holloway; brothers, Glenn and Roy Weiland.

Cremation has taken place. There will not be a service for Linda. Memorials are suggested to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
