Lisa Marie Ramirez, 52, formerly of Hutchinson, died May 9, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center. She was born November 10, 1970, in Emporia, to Ismael and Ann Kathleen (Zimmerman) Cordero.
Lisa graduated from Great Bend High School in 1988. Most recently, she worked as a customer service representative for Faneuil, a division of Georgia Natural Gas. Lisa's hobbies included cooking, baking, gardening, and feeding ducks. Family was everything to Lisa, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Hutchinson
On August 26, 2011, she married Angel Ramirez-Dominguez. He died February 2021.
Lisa is survived by: children, Antonio Cordero, Patrociñio Chacon, Jr., Ana Chacon, Alberto Chacon (Leah), and Angelica Ramirez, all of Wichita; parents; Ismael and Ann Kathleen (Zimmerman) Cordero of South Hutchinson; siblings, Deborah Vasquez of Hutchinson, Sandra Wells of Garden City, Chris Cordero of Hutchinson, Angela Gonzalez of Salina, and Rebecca Cordero of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Maliyah, Alyanna, Adriel, Maya, Isaiah, Penelope, Arellana, Arcylena, Adan, Kalilah, and Izra; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Angel; granddaughter, Truly Chacon; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Parish Rosary will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m., both at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, with Father Eric M. Weldon and Father Ned J. Blick officiating. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Lisa Ramirez Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
The family encourages everyone to wear Lisa's favorite color, some shade of purple, to the Rosary and Mass.
