Liza Kay Walden, 47, died Saturday, December 14, 2024, peacefully at her home in Hutchinson. She was born April 4, 1977, in Hutchinson, to Donald Ray and Mary Lou (Pettay) Walden.

One of Liza's greatest joys in life was music. She loved to sing along to her favorite singers such as, the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake. Liza also enjoyed coloring, and watching her favorite shows, The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, and Smallville.

To know Liza was to know an angel who everyone adored. She always had a smile on her face and you would never see her without it. Everyone she met would say Liza was the light when times were dark.

Liza is survived by: her sister, Ramona (Daniel) Wiggins; close friend, Ty Souidaray; nephews who she adored, Jonathan (Casey) Walden, Shelby Walden, and Austin Souidaray; great-nieces, Aubriela, Brylee, and Kai; fur baby, Snoopy; and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2024, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
