Lloyd Dean Edney's Obituary
Lloyd Dean Edney, 73, of Hutchinson, died Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Via Christi St. Francis Campus, Wichita. He was born March 2, 1945, in Junction City, to Alton and Esther (Crider) Edney.
Lloyd graduated from Junction City Senior High School. Throughout his life he enjoyed camping, fishing, watching movies and working on his vehicles.
On June 7, 2012, he married Mary Lubbers in Pratt. She survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Robert Millen of Kansas City, MO, Mark Millen of Norfolk, VA, and Joseph Mullen of Arlington, VA; brothers, Robert and Larry Edney, both of Bella Vista, AR; and sister, Carol Nowlin of Alta Vista.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Shirley Chase, Rose Lee Graam, Beverly Jean Lichtenhan, Joan Stone, Earlene Gfeller, and Jackie Fogel; and brother, Allison 'Sonny' Edney.
Cremation has taken place. Per the family's request, there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
