Obituary

Lloyd Wayne Ludlow, 84, died Feb. 17, 2006, at Thorne Care Center, Wesley Towers, Hutchinson.

He was born Jan. 8, 1922, in Winona, the son of Roy Alexander and Violet Ethel David Ludlow. He graduated from Winona High School. A resident of Hutchinson, he retired in 1983 as the District Sales Manager for Stauffer Seed Co.

He belonged to Crossroads Christian Church, American Legion Lysle Rishel Post No. 68, was a former member of the Hutchinson-Reno Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and the Reno County Shrine Club. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving 18 months in Germany.

On Dec. 11, 1940, he married Norma L. Everley in Atwood. She survives.

Other survivors include: a daughter, Agnes Coslett and her husband, Robert, Las Vegas; four brothers, Darrel and John, both of Wichita, Robert, San Antonio, and Gene, Russell; a sister, Mary Wells, Phoenix; a son-in-law, James Jaggers, Buhler; nine grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd David Ludlow; a daughter, Janice Jaggers; two brothers, Francis "Eddie" and J. Paul Ludlow; and two sisters, Lucille Logan and Goldine Repshire.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crossroads Christian Church, with Pastors Todd Sinclair and Wayne Pittman presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
