Lloyd Dean Musick, 80, died Feb. 17, 2008, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Sept. 5, 1927, in Hutchinson, the son of Leslie V. and Opal H. Lambert Musick. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1946 and attended Hutchinson Community College. He worked for 16 years at Carey Salt and was a car salesman for both Davis-Child and Bob Bottomley.
He belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving with the 21st Ordinance of the 8th Army from 1946 to 1948.
On Dec. 31, 1949, he married Lenora V. Miller in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Musick and wife, Kristen, Hutchinson, David Musick and wife, Amy, Hutchinson; a daughter, Katharine Budreau, Hutchinson; a sister, Delores Musick, Great Bend; six grandchildren, Danielle, Trenton, Alexis and Lauren Musick, and Megan and Madison Budreau.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kim Biery presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
