Lloyda G. Clark, 94, died July 31, 2026, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born June 10, 1932, in Chicago, IL, to Lloyd E. and Hazel M. (Withers) Dyer.

Lloyda graduated from Wichita East High School. She lived in Wichita, before moving to Hutchinson in 1960. Lloyda worked for the Hutchinson School District as a secretary at Sherman Junior High and the Administration Center. She was also the owner of Paper Place, Etc., located in the Wiley Building, until 1990.

Lloyda was involved in the Highlands Golf Club, Soroptimist, and area support groups. In 1993, with the encouragement of her oncologist, she started the Cancer Support Group. The organization has changed names through the years but still remains a vital part of Hutchinson and Reno County. In addition, Lloyda was active in Girls Scouts and her church, Faith United Methodist Church.

On October 29, 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, Jerry R. Clark, in Wichita. He died November 24, 2015, after they shared 65 years of marriage.

Lloyda is survived by: daughters, Christine “Chris” Colley (Larry) of Hutchinson and Debra (Debbie) Tamburri (Bob) of Lakewood, NJ; sons-in-law, Beto Rojas of Colorado and Don Eves of Florida; six grandchildren, Mikey Jones (Tod) of Latham, KS, Josh Colley of Buena Vista, CO, Kristel Knopinski (Jason) of Englewood, CO, Julie Phelps (John) of Old Saybrook, CT, Kelsey Jahnke (Craig) of Hoboken, NJ, and Robert Tamburri of Hoboken, NJ; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lloyd and Hazel Dyer; daughters, Diana Clark-Rojas and Kathleen Eves; and sister, Jean Gaston.

Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Friends may sign her book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Faith United Methodist Church or Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
