Obituary

PLEVNA - Lois Daile Bramley, 89, died April 22, 2008, at Windsor Place, Lawrence. She was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Abbyville, to Clyde and Edna May Hodge Kitch.

She was a lifetime resident of Abbyville and the Plevna community. She graduated form Abbyville High School in 1936. She was a homemaker, farmer and a cook for Plevna Schools. She belonged to Fairview United Methodist Church. She was a member of United Methodist Women; 4-H club leader; Reno County Farm Bureau; and was a Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragon Century Club member.

On Aug. 4, 1937, she married Harold Leslie Bramley in Hutchinson. He died June 5, 2004.

Survivors include: daughters, Nancy Hiebert and husband John, Lawrence, Cheryl Jones and husband Ray, Hutchinson; sister in law, Maxine England, Hutchinson; four grandchildren, Eric Hiebert and wife Cindy, Olathe, Becky Ludwick and husband Paul, Olathe, Stephanie Norquist, Hutchinson, Denise Norquist, Gardner; three great granddaughters, Natalie, Kate and Mallory Hiebert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Kitch and Gaylord Kitch; sister, Helen Amerman and Dorothy Feese.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Nancy Proffitt presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Huntsville. Memorials may be sent to Fairview United Methodist Church or Douglas County Visiting Nurses' Association Hospice. Personal condolence may be left at www.elliottmortury.com.
