EVANSTON, Wyo. - Lois Alma Michelstetter, 90, died Oct. 19, 2007, at Tender Heart Assisted Living, Evanston, Wyo.
She was born Jan. 15, 1917, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Adelbert Rudolph and Jessie Anna Benedict Michelstetter. A resident of Evanston, Wyo., she was a schoolteacher for the Evanston School District for 39 years.
She belonged to Union Presbyterian Church, where she was ruling elder, clerk of session, organist, pianist, choir member and manager of the bargain box, all at the church, Presbyterian Women, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Delta Kappa Gamma, and the PEO.
Survivors include: a nephew, William Michelstetter, Hutchinson; great-niece, Barbara Schneider and husband Steve, Hutchinson; a great-nephew, William S. Michelstetter and his wife, Linda, both of Hutchinson; six great-great-nephews and nieces; and 13 great-great-great-nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Seward Arthur; and a sister-in-law, Alice Marguerite.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Fairlawn Burial Park, with the Rev. Tim Soule presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
