Loise Ellen Pierson, 69, died April 23, 2015, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born August 8, 1945, in Atoka, Oklahoma, to Otis L. and Lucille (Tomlinson) Owen.
She was a real estate agent for many years. Later she owned and managed property. Loise enjoyed going to casinos and playing the slot machines, working in her garden with her flowers, and traveling with her husband. They took many trips together, including cruises to Alaska and the Bahamas. Most of all, eating at the Anchor Inn was something she thoroughly enjoyed.
She married Stephen Pierson on July 2, 1971, in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: her sons, Stephen Pierson II and wife Cyndi, Olathe, Terry Pierson, and Ronald Brent Pierson; daughters, Sherri Pierson, and Pamela Davidson, all of Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Owen, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and a very close cousin, Bob Tomlinson, Noble, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Troy Owens.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Wayne Pittman officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
